Hello from my new home in Toronto.
I just thought I'd post a quick journal message to let people know how I'm getting on.
Well.... we are trying to get settled into the Toronto lifestyle. Swe has got a job, but I don't as of yet. Not through lack of trying, though I know these things can take time.
We have our own apartment now a block or so from The Beaches, so I'm looking forward to the Summer. I haven't taken any photos yet as some of my equipment, including my computer, has not arrived yet as it is being shipped. They estimated 2 weeks and it has now been nearly 4 weeks, so I'm a little frustrated about not having my PC. I've tried to set up a phone line and internet, but the company doesn't seem interested in my business as they have not got in touch with me after my online order. I guess I'll have to chase them up!
I check my emails and stuff a couple of times a day at wireless points, friends houses or employment centers, but I'm very much looking forward to getting our own connection again.

Anyway... I'll post another update when any of the above changes.
